Data collected when you visit

Every request to this site is logged in our own database. We store the timestamp, URL, referrer, language, any UTM parameters, an approximate geographic location derived from your IP address (country, region, city), your browser, operating system, device class, screen size and time zone, plus interaction data such as time on page, scroll depth and clicks on links. A technical session cookie ("so_sid", HttpOnly, up to 12 months) links requests within the same visit. Your IP address itself is stored only as a one-way hash. Legal basis: legitimate interest in intelligible audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

These logs are not shared with third parties and are not used for profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR nor for advertising.

If you contact us by e-mail

When you get in contact, we process your sender address and the content of your message solely to answer your enquiry and for follow-up correspondence.

E-mail is hosted with Proton AG, Geneva, Switzerland, with end-to-end / zero-access encryption at rest. We do not process message content for any automated purpose.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted no later than 24 months after last contact, unless a legal retention obligation applies. Engagement records are retained under the applicable contractual and statutory retention periods.

Recipients & international transfers

Your data is not shared with third parties other than technical service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, e-mail). As Strattons Oakmont LLC is established in the United States, contacting us involves a transfer of your message to the USA.

Your rights

Where applicable data-protection law grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent, you may exercise them by writing to oakmont-strattons@proton.me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
